Review; Smashbox contour sticks.

The Smash box contour sticks have been on my radar for quite some time now. Since I'd never tried cream contouring I held off paying the $67aud. But then One of my favourite Online stores, Glambot listed them for just $13aud! Such a bargain! There's 90% percent of the product left and they even came in the original box!

My "contouring game" has changed dramatically since purchasing these sticks. They're super pigmented, But are also super creamy and are easy to blend. To contour my cheek bone and jaw I use small dots instead of doing a harsh line. This makes it difficult for me to make mistakes, and easier for me to add more product on. For the purpose of this post I used all three shades, Highlight, bronze and contour. On a regular day I'd use the contour shade and highlight my face with a very light concealer.

SWATCHES; Contour, Bronze and Highlight.
As you can see in the swatches the "highlight" shade is quite dark and would not suit pale girls at all. It's basically one shade lighter than my foundation. Whereas the concealer I use to highlight is 2-3 shades lighter! Looking back at these pictures I've realised I should've highlighted under my cheek bone as well.

And here we have my before and after. I didn't go too heavy handed with the products so I don't see a major difference. I do look a tad more bronzed though. In the future I'll layer a contour powder over the cream for a more intense look. I probably won't get much use out of the bronze and highlight sticks! The contour stick on the other hand is going to be used every day!

Have you tried cream contouring? What is your favourite product to use?
